Insurance is required for events such as Scout Overnight Camping, Fishing Derbies,
Pony Rides, Inflatable Rides, Athletic Fields, Walk-A-Thons, etc.

Prior to issuance of a permit, the COUNTY OF UNION may require a certificate of insurance in the amount of $1,000,000 (one million dollars), combined single limit, covering bodily injury and property damage, naming the “COUNTY OF UNION” as the additional insured. Insurance must be provided by the person, team or organization holding the permit or event.

For some types of activities, the COUNTY OF UNION may require insurance in
higher amounts.
