Environmental Education for Early Childhood Learners with “PLT” and Project WILD - Wednesday March 14, 2012; $25

Environmental Education for Early Learners with PLT and Project WILD have new programs to reach early learners with hands-on nature investigations. Through sensory activities, music, song and dance, as well as snacks and crafts, students gain an awareness of the natural world. Each workshop participant will receive the award-winning PLT guide and music CD as well as the Project WILD guide, supplemental materials that support the lessons in NJ as well as craft and snack ideas for your classroom.


Project Learning Tree “PLT” - Thursday April 26, 2012; $15

PLT is a nationally recognized activity guide that provides educators with tools for increasing student environmental awareness. Whether you are a formal or informal educator, PLT activities will engage your students in interdisciplinary, hands-on experiences that develop skills in problem solving, evaluation and research.


Project WET - Thursday October 25, 2012; $15

This workshop will provide the necessary tools, resources and lessons for teachers to utilize in the classroom to teach our future leaders about the importance and value of water in every day life. More than 90 interdisciplinary activities and lessons, teacher-tested and classroom ready for K-12 students, are included.


Project WILD - Thursday December 6, 2012; $15

Whether formal, non-formal, home school educator or scout leader, Project WILD can assist you in teaching any subject, to any grade level: Science, Social Studies, Math, Literacy or Art. You will acquire new teaching skills and practices that translate into more effective teaching. Prepare to get WILD in the classroom through a multitude of interdisciplinary, hands-on and educational activities, teacher tested and classroom ready for K-12 students. Project WILD lessons are correlated to NJ Core Curriculum Content Standards. Light morning refreshments will be served during registration.
