Special Events

SCHOOL PROGRAM

Ice skating can become part of any elementary, secondary, or collegiate physical education curriculum or special event through the School Savings Plan. These groups are welcome to skate for only $3.00 per student — $2.00 for admission and $1.00 for skate rentals. Advanced arrangements are necessary for this program, which is available on Tuesday and Thursday mornings.

FACILITY RENTALS

Organizations and individuals can rent the facility on an hourly basis for skating or hockey. Insurance must be provided for all private rentals.

OPEN HOCKEY

For adults ages 18 and over, Open Hockey is offered on Wednesday afternoons from 12:30 to 2:30 PM. Participants must have a helmet with shield or cage and their own stick. An admission fee of $7.00 is charged for all players except goalies. There will be no Open Hockey on December 26.

TURKEY BOWL

On November 24 from 3:30 to 5:30 PM, come and join the fun and take a shot at bowling on ice. Ages 4-adult. Prizes will be awarded. Registration is $2.00 per person.

CRON TOURNAMENT

On December 3, 4, 6, 10, 11 & 12 the Skating Center hosts the annual George T. Cron High School Hockey Tournament.

SKATE WITH SANTA

On December 15 & 16 Santa will join skaters on the ice from 1 to 3 PM. Regular admission fees apply.

BIRTHDAY PARTIES

Birthday parties for up to 20 people can be reserved during public sessions. Scheduling and registration can be done at the Warinanco Skating Center.
