Medication Disposal
Union County now has a permanent collection program for unused, unwanted and expired medication. The medication drop-off box is located at the County Police Department, 300 North Avenue East in Westfield in the Sheriff Froehlich Building and is available to residents 24 hours a day/ 7 days a week.
The goal of the program is to allow residents of Union County to deliver all their unwanted medicines to law enforcement officials who can in turn dispose of these controlled substances in a safe and non-hazardous manner.
Sites below are accepting expired or unwanted medication on April 27th from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. for the National Take Back Initiative
