The Department of Administrative Services provides the internal structure of County Government, thereby allowing the various Departments and Agencies to provide our residents with vital services. The Department is comprised of three divisions: Personnel Management & Labor Relations, Purchasing, and Motor Vehicles. A small cross section of the Department’s responsibilities include: administrating personnel policies of the County; maintaining personnel records for over 2800 employees; monitoring and facilitating purchasing in accordance with applicable state laws and regulations; coordinating and monitoring the administration of all County insurance programs; maintaining and repairing the County’s fleet of vehicles and heavy machinery as well as the delivery of internal departmental mail and messenger services.
