St. Patrick’s Day Party at RUNNELLS Specialized Hospital
The St. Patrick’s Day party at RUNNELLS Specialized Hospital of Union County in Berkeley Heights was truly a spirited occasion. Jaimee Hawkins, M.S., Assistant Director of RUNNELLS’ Activities Therapy department (right) together with other department staff and volunteers led residents and patients in one of the party’s spirited songs. The evening included popular Irish songs like “My Wild Irish Rose” and “An Irish Lullaby.”
Partygoers smiled broadly as students of the Shea-Jennings School of Irish Dance entertained them with traditional dances. They thanked the youngsters with resounding applause for their performances.
“The energy was flowing as everyone swayed to the music,” noted Union County Freeholder Vernell Wright, liaison to RUNNELLS Specialized Hospital. “I’d like to thank the employees of the hospital’s Activities Therapy Department and the volunteers for a wonderful party.”
