Historic One-Seat Rides
Now in Union County


On Monday March  3, 2014 NJ Transit began offering its first ever “one-seat” direct rail service to Penn Station in New York City on the Raritan Valley Line, including stops at Plainfield, Fanwood, Westfield, Garwood, Cranford, Roselle Park and Union.

The new service is available on a limited pilot basis,
on weekdays only during mid-day hours.

Plans for expansion into the evening weekday hours is planned for fall, 2014
