Union County School and Health Department Nurses

Union County’s school and health department nurses are invited to attend a free seminar entitled “The Value of Vaccines” which will be held at The Westwood, 438 North Avenue in Garwood on Thursday, April 26th at 5:30 p.m. The dinner and lecture are made possible by GlaxoSmithKlein in partnership with Union County’s Immunization Program, which is under the auspices of Runnells Specialized Hospital of Union County and the Department of Human Services. “The Board of Chosen Freeholders is very proud of Union County’s Immunization Program, which is a joint venture of Union County’s RUNNELLS Specialized Hospital in Berkeley Heights and the county’s Department of Human Services,” said Union County Freeholder Chester Holmes, liaison to RUNNELLS. There will be time during the seminar for questions and answers. The guest speaker for the evening’s program will be William Kelly, CMR, Senior Executive Immunization Specialist Manager of GlaxoSmithKlein. Two professional development hours from the New Jersey Department of Education/Office of Program Support Services will be given. The dinner will be at 5:30 p.m., followed by the lecture.
