Union County Freeholder Vice Chairman Estrada
Named “Man of the Year” by Salvation Army

ELIZABETH, NJ – Union County Freeholder Vice Chairman Angel G. Estrada will be honored by The Salvation Army as the organization’s “Man of the Year” at a luncheon on Monday, June 4, in Elizabeth.

For more than a century, The Salvation Army has been an international movement dedicated to caring for the poor, feeding the hungry, and providing clothing and shelter for those in need. This year, The Salvation Army is proud to honor two prominent individuals and one corporation from our community for their commitment of time and energy to making a significant difference for the needy without discrimination.

The Salvation Army will host a luncheon on Monday, June 4,
at 12:00 noon at the Doubletree Hotel Newark Airport,
1000 Spring Street (Route 1&9), Elizabeth, to honor:

“Man of the Year”: Angel G. Estrada, Union County Freeholder Board Vice Chairman;

“Woman of the Year”: Carole Cascio, former member of the Elizabeth Board of Education;

“Company of the Year”: The Schering-Plough Corporation of Kenilworth.

Their dedication and outstanding contribution will not go unnoticed.
