Mountainside, NJ – Don’t Trash Our Earth! – Union County Freeholder Chairwoman Bette Jane Kowalski viewed exhibits at Trailside Nature and Science Center with Gray Russell, Environmental Coordinator for Montclair, and Nelson Dittmar, Chairman of the Cranford Environmental Commission after an educational workshop on May 8. Mr. Russell gave a compelling presentation at Trailside that evening about the growing crisis of global warming. To conclude his discussion, Mr. Russell provided a plan of action modeled on work which he is coordinating in Montclair. Trailside Nature and Science Center is located at 452 New Providence Road in Mountainside and is a service of the Union County Board of Chosen Freeholders. |
