150 anniversary Union County's White Oak

Union County Chairwoman Bette Jane Kowalski kicks off the celebration of Union County's 150th Anniversary at the planting of a North American White Oak tree at Nomahegan Park in Cranford on May 1. She is joined by Robert Fridlington (L) of the Union County Historical Society and Hugh Delano of the Cranford Historical Society. The North American White Oak is Union County’s official tree. A day-long celebration of Union County’s 150th Anniversary will take place on Saturday, May 19 at Nomahegan Park in Cranford.
