Enjoy a touch of Las Vegas or Atlantic City at the RUNNELLS Specialized Hospital Foundation’s Casino Night benefit on
Saturday, June 2nd. The place to be is the VFW Veterans’ Center,
33 South 21st Street in Kenilworth from 7 to 11 p.m.
Each individual receives $100 in gaming “money”, a hot buffet
catered by Costa’s Ristorante, dessert and coffee for their ticket price of $50 per person (seniors $25 each). There will be a cash bar and additional gaming money may be purchased. Use your winnings
to bid at the evening’s final event… a tricky tray auction. Some of the prizes you can bid on at the auction are: a wide screen TV; a one week stay in a lavish home in Costa Rica; a golf foursome at any of Union County’s public golf courses; Yankees tickets (2 prizes of 2 tickets each); 4 Mets tickets and 4 days/3 nights in a Las Vegas hotel (including air fare).
“The goal of the RUNNELLS SpecializedHospital Foundation is to assist in creating a better quality of life for the patients and residents of RUNNELLS,” said Union County Freeholder Chester Holmes, RUNNELLS liaison. “Among their projects is the creation of a virtual outdoor experience for the patients and residents who are unable to spend time outdoors. This will be in the form of a glass-enclosed solarium.”
Any individual or company may become an event sponsor. Sponsors will each have a sign displayed at the event promoting your business or honoring a special person.
“If you would like to contribute prizes for the tricky tray auction including gift baskets, tickets and gift certificates; to become a sponsor and to order tickets, call (908) 771- 5803,” Freeholder Holmes added. “We look forward to hearing from you soon.”
