Freeholders Thank County Employees
At Runnells Specialized Hospital
During County Government Week

Chairwoman Kowalski joined Freeholder Chester Holmes (not in photo) to thank RUNNELLS employees for their efforts on behalf of the residents and patients of RUNNELLS.

Union County Freeholder Chairwoman Bette Jane Kowalski and Freeholder Chester Holmes, liaison to RUNNELLS Specialized Hospital of Union County went to RUNNELLS to thank the employees for their hard work and dedication. The hospital was one of several County sites that the Freeholders visited during the week of April 23rd to the 27th, County Government Week.

“The Freeholders visit as many County work sites as possible in an effort to express our appreciation for everything that Union County government employees do on behalf of the citizens of our County,” said Freeholder Chairwoman Kowalski.

“It’s important to take the time to say thank you to the dedicated workers of RUNNELLS,” said Freeholder Holmes. “They provide the exceptional quality care that Union County residents know they and their loved ones will receive as patients at RUNNELLS SpecializedHospital."
The facility, located at 40 Watchung Way in Berkeley Heights is situated on a 45-acre mountaintop tract of land that offers breathtaking views of the Watchung Mountains. RUNNELLS is easily accessible from Routes 22, 24, and 78.
