Mountainside, NJ – As part of Trailside Nature & Science Center’s Wednesday Matinee series, the Union County Board of Chosen Freeholders is pleased to announce a unique and lively performance by Mr. Fish, renowned circus performer, on Wednesday, August 8, at 1:30 p.m. in Trailside’s newly renovated Visitor Center.

Using everyday household objects and lots of audience participation, Mr. Fish offers a humorous and exciting performance incorporating “kid friendly” demonstrations on the principles of aerodynamics, friction, air pressure, sound and more. He will amaze you and your family with astounding tricks that actually have scientific explanations.

“Mr. Fish is a former featured clown with the Big Apple Circus and his show is back by popular demand,” said Freeholder Chairwoman Bette Jane Kowalski. “His amazing and amusing circus skills and magic tricks make science fun for the whole family. We are happy to have him back as part of Trailside’s 2007 summer matinee series.”

Tickets will go on sale 20 minutes before each show. Admission is $4 per person and the show is recommended for ages 4 and older. No infants or babies in strollers are allowed in the auditorium. Call Trailside for information regarding group rates. The matinees are selling out, so come early to find a good seat.
