Summer Horse Show at Watchung Stable

MOUNTAINSIDE, NJ – Union County Freeholder Vice Chairman Angel G. Estrada (center) awarded Matthew Tumolillo of Maplewood, riding Newman, one of  the resident horses at Watchung Stable in Mountainside, and Simone March (right) of Scotch Plains, first and second place respectively during the Gamblers Choice event at Watchung Stable’s 2nd Annual Summer Horse Show. Freeholder Estrada and stable manager Mark Burrows (left) congratulated and wished the best of luck to Tumolillo and March as they will both leave for college in the fall. Tumolillo will attend Morrisville State College, New York, majoring in equine science. March will head off to Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, to study neuroscience. Both Tumolillo and March have been riding in the Watchung Stable Troop Program since they were nine years old and have participated in numerous horse shows, camp programs and other activities offered at the Stable. Watchung Stable is a service of the Union County Board of Chosen Freeholders.
