Medical Reserve Corps Volunteers Honored for Service

Scotch Plains – Sixty-one active members of the new Union County Medical Reserve Corps were honored for their commitment to public health during a ceremony at the John H. Stamler Police Academy in Scotch Plains last month. The Corps consists of community volunteers in a broad range of medical and non-medical professions who are trained to assist local officials in public health emergencies. So far, over 200 volunteers throughout Union County have registered to join the Corps.
