Skating and Hockey Lessons Are Available at the Warinanco Ice Skating Center:
Register for Classes, Nov. 29-Dec. 2

ROSELLE, NJ – The Warinanco Ice Skating Center is open for the season and opportunities are available to learn how to enjoy one of the oldest winter sports!

The Union County Board of Chosen Freeholders is happy to announce that a new session of ice skating lessons and hockey clinics will begin in December. Anyone interested in learning how to skate or improve their skating ability is encouraged to sign up! Registration starts on Thursday, Nov. 29th at 7:00 p.m. and will continue through Sunday, Dec. 2nd or until the classes are filled.

Ice skating lessons are held once a week for six weeks. Classes last 30 minutes. The fee for children ages 17 & under is $89.00; for adults 18 years and older the fee is $94.00. Both fees include rink admission. Bring your own skates or rent a pair for $3.00, payable at each lesson.

Hockey clinics meet once a week for six weeks. Each class is one hour. The fee for “First Start” (ages 4-6) and the “Youth” program (ages 7-12) is $95.00. Hockey equipment is required.

The Warinanco Ice Skating Center is a service of the Union County Board of Chosen Freeholders. The skating center is conveniently located off St. Georges Avenue or Thompson Avenue on the Elizabeth/Roselle border in scenic Warinanco Park.
