Union County Freeholder Chairwoman Bette Jane Kowalski (2nd L) and Freeholder Vice Chairman Angel G. Estrada present Sasha Lipton (2nd R) of Mountainside with a resolution thanking her for her donation of 125 toys to the Union County Toy Drive. The 17-year-old Governor Livingston High School student is the founder of Second Chance Toys, her own community-based program to rescue and refurbish plastic toys that would otherwise end up in our landfills. She sanitizes and prepares the toys and has donated them to numerous organizations that help needy children throughout New Jersey. They are joined by Toy Drive Coordinator Mary Krech of the Union County Department of Human Services.  For more information about Sasha and Second Chance Toys please visit www.secondchancetoys.org.
