MOUNTAINSIDE, NJ – Twelve-year-old Monica Cioppettini of Summit rides Apache during a Mounted Troop class at Watchung Stable in Mountainside. Monica is
among 500 other children who participate in the Watchung Mounted Troop Program
in the Spring and Fall each year. Registration for Spring Troop classes for children nine years of age and older begins on Jan. 2, 2008, from 9:00 a.m.-12 noon and
from 1:00-4:00 p.m. Watchung Stable, located at 1160 Summit Lane in Mountainside, is a facility of the Union County Department of Parks and Community Renewal, and is sponsored by the Union County Board of Chosen Freeholders.
