Superior Court Assignment Judge Walter R. Barisonek administers the oath of office to Union County Freeholder Bette Jane Kowalski of Cranford during the county’s 151st annual reorganization meeting on January 6 at the Union County Courthouse in Elizabeth. Holding the Bible are the Chairwoman’s husband, Andy Lanset (R) and her father Ed Kowalski and her sister Barbara Kowalska.
