HILLSIDE, NJ – Nature lovers of all ages will enjoy free educational programs and hikes through riverside parkland on Friday and Saturday, June 13-14, during the fourth annual Union County Bio-Blitz – a 24-hour survey of the plants and creatures in Union County’s Elizabeth River Parkway. The wildlife survey and programs run from 5:00 – 11:00 p.m. on Friday on Kean University’s East Campus, off North and Irvington Avenues in Hillside, and continue on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Meet scientists and field experts from the metropolitan area and enjoy the exhibits and discussions about the discoveries along the banks of the river in Hillside, Union and Elizabeth.
