Free Concert by Jobonanno & the Godsons of Soul at Echo Lake Park, July 30

MOUNTAINSIDE/WESTFIELD, NJ – The Union County Summer Arts Festival concert series continues on Wednesday, July 30, featuring the Jersey-based high energy rock and soul music of Jobonanno and the Godsons of Soul. The Union County Board of Chosen Freeholders, led by Chairman Angel G. Estrada, invites the public to attend this free concert which begins at 7:30 p.m. in Echo Lake Park.

Jobonanno and the Godsons of Soul have been electrifying audiences in the tri-state area for more than a dozen years. Recently voted one of the Top Ten bands in New Jersey, they have opened concerts for James Brown, Eddie Money, Mitch Ryder, Bad Company, Marshall Tucker, Danny Federici, Clarence Clemons, Gary U.S. Bonds, and many others – and they’ve been joined on stage numerous times by the likes of Jon Bon Jovi and Bruce Springsteen.

Freeholder Chairman Estrada urges you to “bring the whole family, pack a picnic basket, bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on, and enjoy the energy of these dynamic musicians.”

The Union County information van will be at the concert site, along with representatives from the Union County Clerk’s Office, to answer questions and offer information about interesting programs available to Union County residents.
