College for Teens

Union County Freeholder Bette Jane Kowalski (C) congratulates (from left) Maria Gabryszewska of Linden, Neil Borand of Union, Jovan Oliver of Union and Jordan Solomon of Roselle on being selected as the outstanding student in each of their fields at the Union County Freeholders College for Teens commencement at Union County College in Cranford. This summer more than 60 students from throughout Union County completed the three-week program which offers teens in grades 8 through 12 opportunities to explore a variety of career choices while experiencing life on a college campus. Since the Union County Board of Chosen Freeholders launched the program in 2002, more than 600 Union County students have completed College
for Teens.
