Mammal specialist Travis Gale of Wallaby Tales Traveling Zoo introduces a wallaby to Caroline and Christian Culp of Scotch Plains at a recent Trailside Nature & Science Center event. Travis will perform at Trailside on August 13th at 1:30 p.m. for the finale of this summer’s Wednesday Matinee series. Join us for an amazing, comical and educational presentation about the behaviors, habitats, adaptations and survival strategies of some very interesting mammals. Tickets go on sale at the door 30 minutes before the show. The fee is $4 per person and the program is recommended for children ages 4 and older. No infants or babies in strollers are allowed in the auditorium. MOUNTAINSIDE, NJ – The Union County Board of Chosen Freeholders is pleased to announce that Wallaby Tales Traveling Zoo will visit Trailside Nature and Science Center on Wednesday, August 13, at 1:30 p.m. In this last matinee of the summer series, live animals, education and fun collide for families with children ages 4 and older.

Join us for an amazing, comical and educational presentation about the behaviors, habitats, adaptations and survival strategies of some very interesting mammals. Using life stories of each unique animal, their often humorous personalities, fun facts, anecdotes and animal’s-eye views as instruction, this show is sure to be a big hit!
