Mountainside, NJ – The Union County Board of Chosen Freeholders and Trailside Nature and Science Center are pleased to offer an outdoor barn dance and BBQ dinner at Watchung Stable in Mountainside. This program is part of Trailside’s fall series of activities for adults, ages 18 years and older, and will be held on Saturday, October 11, from 7:00-10:00 p.m. “This is an event you won’t want to miss,” said Freeholder Chairman Angel G. Estrada. “It’s a great way to enjoy the outdoors, dance and meet friends in the Watchung Reservation.” Take a break from the dancing and hop on the hay wagon to enjoy a beautiful October evening in the reservation. Then grab a plate and enjoy a BBQ dinner cooked to perfection by Famous Dave’s restaurant in Mountainside. Don’t miss this evening! The event will be held at Watchung Stable, rain or shine. The deadline to register for the barn dance is October 9. The fee is $20 per person for residents of Union County and $25 per person for out-of-county participants. Please call Trailside for directions to the stable. For additional information about this event or other upcoming programs and special activities at Trailside, please call 908-789-3670 or visit us on the web at www.ucnj.org/trailside.
