Union County Freeholder Chairman Angel G. Estrada (2nd R), Vice Chairman Al Mirabella (R) and Freeholders Bette Jane Kowalski (L), Nancy Ward (2nd L) and Rick Proctor (3rd R) receive honors with Pam Capaci, Director of Prevention Links Union County Coalition for the Prevention of Substance Abuse, at the 10th Annual Red Ribbon Drug Awareness Day and 6th Annual D.A.R.E. Day on October 18 in Nomahegan Park in Cranford. Red Ribbon Day allows educators, parents, community groups, students and others to focus on the work being done to stop the spread of drugs and to draw attention to the growing millions who have pledged to live drug-free.
