National Healthcare Food Service Workers’ Week

Members of RUNNELLS SpecializedHospital of Union County’s Food and Nutrition Services staff delivers on the promise of preparing and serving quality food every day to the residents, staff and visitors to the Berkeley Heights facility. To show them that their hard work is appreciated, they were honored at a dessert reception as part of National Healthcare Food Service Workers’ Week, October 6 to the 12th.

“Healthcare food service workers play an integral role in helping the people who live at, visit or work at their facilities stay well nourished and healthy,” said Union County Freeholder Chester Holmes. “I join the rest of the Freeholder Board in taking this time to applaud the commitment and contributions of the dedicated food service workers of RUNNELLS on behalf of those they serve.”

RUNNELLS is situated on a 45-acre mountain top tract of land at 40 Watchung Way in Berkeley Heights that offers breathtaking, panoramic views of the Watchung Mountains. Call 908-771-5700 for information about the facility.
