Turkeys, fall leaves and other seasonal decorations adorned the walls and tables of the Candlelight Dinner for the residents of RUNNELLS SpecializedHospital of Union County. Beef tenderloin or fried shrimp followed by pie was enjoyed while listening to Candy Nelson singing such favorites as “Chattanooga Choo-Choo” and “All of Me.”

“Evenings like the candlelight dinners are fun for RUNNELLS residents,” said Union County Freeholder Chester Holmes, RUNNELLS liaison. “These occasions are made possible due to the hard work of the staffs of the facility’s departments of Activities Therapy and, Food and Nutrition Services as well as the valuable assistance of RUNNELLS volunteers,” Freeholder Holmes added. “Upcoming RUNNELLS’ events include the New Year’s party and Tricky Tray.”
