Employees from Schering-Plough of Kenilworth generously volunteered their time at Runnells Specialized Hospital of Union County recently as part of their Community Projects Day. They helped to make ice cream sundaes, play rhythm instruments and sing with residents of the facility’s unit for individuals with dementia.

The event was arranged through the United Way of Greater Union County.

RUNNELLS is located at 40 Watchung Way in Berkeley Heights. Any companies that would like to send a group of volunteers or individuals who are interested in volunteering should call the Office of Volunteer Services at 908-771-5847.
