It was beginning to look a lot like the holidays at RUNNELLS Specialized Hospital

One by one the residents of RUNNELLS SpecializedHospital of Union County took a handcrafted decoration and placed it on their tree, creating just the right holiday look. The decorations were handmade by the Volunteers of Westfield Senior Housing, Building 2; Berkeley Heights Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts from several local communities.

After decorating the tree, residents enjoyed the vocalizing of the RUNNELLS Choir, honoring Christmas and Kwanzaa with favorites that included “Silent Night” and “Kum Ba-Ya” and resident Ed Gordon singing “Chanukah Oh Chanukah.”

"I’d like to extend my holiday wishes to the staff, residents and patients of RUNNELLS and to all Union County residents," said Union County Freeholder Chester Holmes.
