Union County Clerk’s Office in Westfield Now Open on Saturday Mornings
WESTFIELD, NJ – Union County Clerk Joanne Rajoppi announces that her Westfield office now is open for business on Saturday mornings. The new hours are intended to increase the availability of the Clerk’s services to the public beyond the weekday business hours.
“The new hours at my office in Westfield are intended to help those who are unable to access our services during the week,” Ms. Rajoppi said. “Whether you are applying for a passport or an identification card, or need assistance with a notary, my staff can assist you on Saturday mornings now in addition to our other convenient weekday hours.”
The Westfield Annex of the County Clerk’s Office is located at 300 North Avenue East in Westfield. Its new office hours are 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturdays; 8:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays; and from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The Westfield Annex is the only County Clerk’s office in the state that is open during evening hours. The phone number at the Westfield Annex is 908-654-9859.
The Elizabeth office of the County Clerk, located in the Union County Courthouse at
2 Broad Street in Elizabeth, is open from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

During the month of February, Ms. Rajoppi will waive the normal $10 fee for having your photo taken when you apply for a passport, passcard or a Union County photo identification card at the County Clerk’s offices in Elizabeth and Westfield.
Passport application forms may be obtained at either of the Union County Clerk’s two offices. Applications for passports and related information also can be found online at http://www.ucnj.org/ctyclerk/passport.html.
