Portugal Day committee names Freeholder Angel G. Estrada as an honorary marshall
for Portugal Day Parade in Elizabeth, NJ

DIA DE PORTUGAL (PORTUGAL DAY)---Elizabeth Portugal Day Committee members announced Union County Freeholder Angel G. Estrada, a resident of Elizabeth, as an honorary Marshall of their parade this year on June 7th. Estrada, who accepted the honor, will be sashed on May 2nd at the Elizabeth Portugal Day Pageant. Also the Committee members presented a plaque of appreciation on March 12th to the Union County Freeholder Board at their regular meeting in Elizabeth. The plaque was in honor of the Freeholder’s Board’s support for the Committee’s activities including the parade and their annual Fishing Derby at Warinanco Park in Elizabeth, which occurs this year on April 25th.
