Thanks for the Trauma Team that Cared for Officer Coon

Freeholder Chairman Al Mirabella (3rd L) and Freeholder Chester Holmes (2nd L) join Union County Sheriff Ralph Froehlich (R) in thanking Dr. Devashish Anjaria (2nd R), Trauma Nurse Kelly Semple (4th R) and Patient Representative Robert Spellman (3rd R) from University Hospital for the life-saving care they provided Sheriff’s Officers Chris Coon (4th L) after he was critically injured in a line of duty car accident last December. Sheriff’s Officer James Guerrant (L) was riding with Officer Coon and received less serious injuries. The officers were injured when a fleeing vehicle traveling at more than 100 miles per hour slammed into their unmarked squad car in Elizabeth.
