2009 Young Writers Poetry Contest Winners

Freeholder Chairman Al Mirabella (L) and Freeholder Vice Chairman Dan Sullivan present resolutions congratulating the winners of the 2009 Young Writers Poetry Contest sponsored by the Union County Freeholder Board and the Union County Shade Tree Advisory Board. All contestants, from grade 6 through grade 8, had to write an original poem celebrating Arbor Day and creatively express the importance of trees in Union County.
