Scientists and Naturalists Needed for Union County Bio-Blitz, June 12-13

Volunteer scientists and naturalists of all expertise levels are needed for Bio-Blitz 2009, which will take place June 12-13 in a trio of Union County parks.
The 5th annual Bio-Blitz will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, June 12, and continue until 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 13. Sponsored by the Union County Board of Chosen Freeholders, the Union County Department of Parks and Community Renewal, Kean University and Keanís Institute of Urban Ecosystem Studies, the 24-hour nature survey will focus on the plants and animals found in Briant Park, Hidden Valley Park and Houdaille Quarry in Summit and Springfield
