TEA SEMINAR OFFERS SAVORY DELIGHT

 

Westfield, NJ – Tea enthusiasts can learn all about their favorite beverage at “A Tea Seminar: Drink to Your Health,” a free event offered by the Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Union County.   The seminar is scheduled for Thursday, August 27, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the County Extension offices in Westfield.

The event is free but pre-registration is required by contacting the Extension at 908-654-9854 or emailing dtorres@ucnj.org.

Dr. Karen Ensle, a nutrition expert and head of the County Extension department, will discuss the health benefits of various teas and provide tips on the best brewing method.

The Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Union County provides the community with science-based information on nutrition, food safety, home environmental health, family well-being, agriculture and 4-H youth development.   It is supported in part by the Union County Board of Chosen Freeholders.
