UNION COUNTY TO HOLD POW/MIA REMEMBRANCE DAY CEREMONY, SEPTEMBER 18
ELIZABETH, NJ—The Union County Board of Chosen Freeholders will remember and honor the personal sacrifices of our nation’s prisoners of war and military personnel missing in action at the annual Union County POW/MIA Remembrance Ceremony. The event will take place on Friday, September 18, at 11:15 a.m. in front of the Union County Courthouse at 2 Broad Street in Elizabeth.
Freeholder Angel G. Estrada will serve as Master of Ceremonies. Veterans groups from throughout the area have been invited to the ceremony and everyone is welcome to join with Union County officials in saluting these brave men and women.
