Union County Freeholder Chairman Alexander Mirabella (2nd R) presents checks to Fanwood Mayor Colleen Mahr (R) and to Scotch Plains Mayor Nancy Malool and Ray Poerio, Scotch Plains Director of Parks and Recreation, from the Union County Open Space, Recreation and Historic Preservation Trust Fund’s “2009 Kids Recreation Trust Fund” grant program. The grants go to local field improvements, recreation scholarships, and equipment purchases.
