Yoga – Learn Yoga Techniques

The benefits of yoga include body strengthening, increased flexibility and relaxation. Yoga mats are provided. We ask participants to refrain from eating for 2 hours prior. Six Mondays, Oct. 30 – Dec. 4 • 5–6 pm Trailside Nature & Science Center 452 New Providence Rd., Mountainside $12 registration fee 

Culinary Delights

Create a complete meal, from beverage to dessert, then enjoy the delicious meal! Master chefs lead the way. Group homes limited to 2 participants.Saturday, Dec. 9 • 9:30–11 am Classic Thyme 710 South Ave., Westfield $8 registration fee


Enjoy time with friends while creating a beautiful ceramic keepsake to bring home. Group homes limited to 2 participants. Program runs in conjunction with the City of Linden’s Dept. of Recreation Tuesdays, Dec. 5 & 12 • 7–8:15 pm Gregorio Recreation Center 330 Helen St., Linden $8 registration fee 

Barn Dance

Join some friends for a Country Hoe-Down at Masker’s Barn. Includes dancing to a live country band, square dance caller, hay rides, crafts and games! Snacks and refreshments available. Families are welcome. Sunday, Nov. 5 • 2 – 5 pm Deserted Village – Masker’s Barn 9 Cataract Hollow Rd, Berkeley Heights $10 registration fee – Please register each family member 

Recreational Swim

Have fun at our FREE swim sessions. Sign in on arrival. People requiring assistance in the water or locker room must make their own arrangements for an aide. (One aide per person admitted.) Organizations are limited to 5 participants, and must provide a chaperone in the water. Every Tuesday, Nov. – June • 7–8 pm Fanwood-Scotch Plains YMCA 1340 Martine Ave., Scotch Plains FREE!
