Adopt-A-Park Volunteers Make a Difference

Union County, NJ — Fall weather is no deterrent to Union County Adopt-A-Park volunteers, who play a key role in improving and maintaining more than 6,600 acres of public open space. Pictured here are members of the Haitian Flag Day Planning Committee in Warinanco Park last Saturday. They picked up litter, collected recyclables, removed weeds and repaired fencing at a shoreline restoration project designed to attract hummingbirds, songbirds, butterflies and other pollinators.
