Facebook, Google+   Social networks including but not limited to Facebook and Google+ provide the ability to create basic pages in an easy-to-use management interface. The business pages you create allows you to be found on major search engines and have frequent customers 'follow' and 'like' the latest deals, products and services you are offering. Also by having customers 'follow' or 'like' you allows their friends, coworkers and family see what you are offering as well.

 

Twitter   Pushing messages all under 160-characters each allows creativity to be your main resource in pushing the latest news and deals about your business.

 

FourSquare   Have customers that visit or use your services 'check-in' every time they do a transaction with your business. The more they 'check-in', the more exclusive deals and coupons they receive encouraging repeated business.  They also receive promoted statuses for how many visits occur.

 

RSS   Really Simple Syndication allows customers to stay as up-to-date to your latest services, products and news without actually having to go to your website and continually check.  They receive alerts through their preferred web browsers and mobile devices.

 

Custom Web Sites   Having a custom web site made allows endless possibilities in the fields of marketing, e-commence and what the latest news and information flowing out of your business.  It is important to promote your web site just as much as your physical business's address (if applicable).  Another important of having a web site is having it search engine optimized.
