The candidates elected in this year\u2019s general election will represent the newly formed district when they are sworn-in in 2023.&nbsp; Until the new congress is sworn-in in 2023, residents will continue to be represented according to the current assignments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-secondary-background-color has-background wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/www.njredistrictingcommission.org\/adoption2022map.asp\">2022 &#8211; 2031 Map<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-subtle-background-background-color has-background wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Legislative Districts<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The new legislative district map has been adopted.&nbsp; However, the new map will be applied in next year\u2019s legislative elections, when voters will vote next year for their new state representatives in their new district, who will be sworn-in in 2024.&nbsp;
