The Union County Commission on the Status of Women was established to:

  • Address the issues, and concerns of women in Union County;
  • Recommend and review Affirmative Action programs affecting the status of women;
  • Disseminate information to women of Union County regarding their legal rights, special needs and interests; and
  • Make recommendations to the Board of Chosen Freeholders that will be beneficial for women
