Service Description: The Union County Family Engagement Program will coordinate programming and service linkages for youth and their families who are court involved. The program uses an evidence-based curriculum to guide, strengthen and engage the family in the process.
Target Population: Union County residents currently involved in the Juvenile Justice System between the ages of 13-21 and their families. Support services offered to families of youth previously in the Juvenile Justice System.
Point of Continuum: Detention/Disposition
Hours:
- In Juvenile Court: Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 9:00am-11: 30 am and as needed
- Juvenile Court: Wednesday and Thursday from 1:30 to 2:30 pm and as needed
- Linden Office: Mondays and Tuesdays after 1:00 pm as well as Fridays for scheduled appointments
Youth can be referred by: Family Court, Probation, Juvenile Intensive Supervision Program (JISP), Union County Juvenile Detention Center, Union County Electronic Monitoring Program, and Multi-Disciplinary Teams

Service Description: The Union County Career Development and Job Readiness Program will help youth explore career options and prepare them for job placement. It will identify careers that interest youth and match them with job shadowing positions and internships in different fields. Job Readiness activities will provide career exposure in various industries. Parents and guardians will engage with the youth in goal setting in the youth’s areas of interest.
Target Population: Union County court-involved youth ages 16-21.

Hours: 12:00-5:00pm, or extended hours as needed
