style=\"--col-width:33.38%;flex-basis:33.38%\">\n<p class=\"has-extra-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">The Union County Behavioral Health Advisory Board (BHAB) is a governing body responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of community behavioral health and substance misuse services in the county.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-extra-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">The board is composed of dedicated volunteers from various backgrounds who work together to address the impact of behavioral health needs on the local community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Through a range of programs and initiatives, the board works to reduce the stigma associated with behavioral health and substance misuse and encourage individuals to seek help and support.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"--col-width:33%;flex-basis:33%\">\n<div style=\"height:100px\" class=\"has-extra-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">BHAB is committed to ensuring that services are accessible and affordable so that all residents of Union County have access to high-quality, effective prevention, treatment, and recovery services to help them achieve long-term wellness and recovery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The board\u2019s function and responsibility are to study and evaluate behavioral health related needs and services within the county and make recommendations on these related matters through the following:<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Develop and recommend a comprehensive plan for alcohol\/substance misuse services for the county.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Review, evaluate, and make recommendations to service projects submitted for available funding.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Review projects funded by the County for compliance with rules and regulations of the State Department of Human Services and Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Review progress in the development of behavioral health\/substance misuse services in the County and suggest recommendations to local agencies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Review and evaluate local applications for County, State, and Federal behavioral health funds and report to the Board thereon.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitor the service delivery and administration of all programs under the Board\u2019s jurisdiction<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Carry out within Union County the purposes of State Law and the rules and regulations adopted there under pertaining to behavioral health and prevention, treatment, and care<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group alignfull has-subtle-background-background-color
