Union County Sheriff Ralph Froehlich swore in Father John McCrone as the Chaplain of the Union County Sheriff’s Office on April 12 in Elizabeth. Lt. William Bukowski held the Bible. Father McCrone is the pastor of Our Lady of Lourdes in Mountainside. He also serves as chaplain for the Mountainside Police Department and the Union County PBA Conference.
