Roselle Man Found Guilty on Drug Charge

A Roselle man was convicted last week of 3rd Degree drug possession stemming from a 2010 arrest, announced Prosecutor Theodore J. Romankow.

Derrick Fullman DOB: 2/20/1981 faces 10 years in prison when he is sentenced in March 2012 before Union County Superior Court Judge Robert J. Mega, said Assistant Prosecutor Brent A. Bramnick, who prosecuted the case.

According to the investigation, Fullman, a confirmed member of the Crips Street Gang, attempted to swallow 13 folds of heroin and four small bags of marijuana as officers in Roselle moved to arrest him on an outstanding warrant. Fullman was unsuccessful and officers recovered the illegal drugs, said Bramnick.

A jury convicted Fullman after a four-day trial.
