A Roselle man was sentenced to 18 years in state prison today, after pleading guilty to 1st Degree Robbery earlier this year, said Prosecutor Theodore J. Romankow.
Derrick Fullman DOB: 2/20/1981 robbed an Elizabeth variety store with a handgun in May 2010. At the time he netted nearly $600 in cash and several mobile phones, said Assistant Prosecutor Brent A. Bramnick, who prosecuted the case. Following an investigation he was arrested a few weeks later.
Fullman, a confirmed member of the Crips street gang, must serve 85 percent of his sentence before he is eligible for parole, said Bramnick.
