Please stop at the entrance and speak to the guard on duty to check-in. After check-in, all range visitors must proceed directly to the Firearms Facility and proceed directly back to the guard to check-out when leaving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-subtle-background-background-color has-background wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Shooters are required to attend a Range safety\/orientation course prior to utilizing the Sheriff\u2019s Range. See below the schedule for more information about the course.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-secondary-background-color has-background wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Range Hours<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Firearms Training Facility will be open to the public from 12 pm \u2013 5 pm on Sundays only<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-secondary-background-color has-background wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">2024 Sunday Public Range Schedule<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>April 7, 14, 21, 28<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>May 5, 12, 19<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>June 2, 9, 16, 30<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>July 7, 14, 21, 28<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>August 4, 11, 18, 25<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>September 8, 15, 22, 29<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>October 6, 20, 27<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>November 3, 17, 24<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>December 8, 15<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-secondary-background-color has-background wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Public<\/strong><strong> Range Hours<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Firearms Training Facility open to the public from 12 pm to 5 pm on <em>scheduled Sundays only.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-secondary-background-color has-background wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Range Safety\/Orientation Course Requirements<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A valid NJ Firearms Identification Card and a valid form of photo identification are required to attend the course and must be presented prior to entry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To make an appointment for next available the Range Safety\/Orientation course, please contact the Rangemaster, Officer Kevin Sargent, at <a href=\"tel:908-273-1129\">908-273-1129<\/a> between the hours of 9am to 3pm or send an email to ksargent@ucnj.org. Courses are scheduled on an as-needed basis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Upon being scheduled for a course, applicants will be asked to complete a registration from, including a digital passport style photo, and submit it by e-mail. This information will be used to create a Range ID card, which will be provided upon successful completion of the course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After successful completion of the Range Safety\/Orientation course, range ID\/access cards will be available by appointment for pick up at the Union County Sheriff\u2019s Control Center located at 2 Broad Street (Rotunda Building \u2013 Basement), Elizabeth, NJ 07202. Please contact the Sheriff\u2019s Control Center at (908)527-4443 to schedule an appointment for the range ID\/access card, and provide a full name and call back number if leaving a message.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-secondary-background-color has-background wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Procedure for Renewal<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Renewal&nbsp;stickers may be obtained at the range facility from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on weekdays, or on any open Sunday range date. Additional Range Officers will be available in the month of March to assist in processing renewals during the open Sunday dates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To obtain the yearly renewal sticker, a current New Jersey Firearms ID card along with a current driver\u2019s license or&nbsp;acceptable&nbsp;form of identification must be presented to the Range Officer at the time of renewal. Juveniles&nbsp;that have attended the range&nbsp;orientation&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>have not&nbsp;<\/strong>turned 18 years old do not have to be present to obtain the renewal sticker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-subtle-background-background-color has-background wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Union County Resident Renewal Fees<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Adult:
