The Office of Professional Standards of the Union County Sheriff\u2019s Office is responsible for ensuring that all members of the department adhere to the highest standards of professional conduct and remain responsive to the citizens they serve. The Office is also tasked with conducting thorough and impartial investigations into all complaints of misconduct involving members of the Union County Sheriff\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Office of Professional Standards reports directly to the Sheriff and\/or the Administrative Undersheriff and is charged with administering all investigative and disciplinary processes within the agency. Its primary mission is to ensure that all members uphold the highest standards of integrity, accountability, and ethical performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
